Refill Kits for C4840A, C4841A, C4842A, C4843A and C4844A Cartridges
First a word about these cartridges. They are not the easiest cartridges to refill. HP has tried very hard to make these unusable after 1 use. The latest ones have a chip built onto them which prevents the cartridge from working after it is empty. This can be overcome by refilling it before it goes completely empty. But even the older ones are a bit difficult to refill because you have to get a vacuum started to keep the ink from leaking out. It can be done but it is a challenge. With that said - These cartridges hold approx 30cc of ink. The black kit comes with tools, instructions and one 4oz bottle of black ink which should be enough ink for 3 or 4 refills. The color kit comes with tools, instructions and three 2oz bottles of each color ink. Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. This should be enough ink for 1 or 2 refills.
